  • Oats:

So include them somewhere in your breakfast or even as a snack throughout the day.

  • Nuts:

Nuts help you lose that belly fat by keeping you full for longer and hence make great snacks and hunger repressors. You only need 24 Almonds a day to keep away the hunger pangs without piling up on the calorie intake.

  • Watermelons:

It has been discovered that people who have lots of watermelons in their diet tend to lose more weight than their water-drinking counterparts. It is a good idea to include watermelons in your diet as a replacement for juices and other fat increasing fruits such as bananas.

  • Meat and Fish:

Meats and fish work very well to burn fat. They help to increase the anti-stress chemicals which will decrease your belly size. Fish are filled with Omega-3 amino fatty acids which improve metabolism and burning off more fat.   However, stay away from cured meats as they tend to contain saturated fats.

  • Soup and Salads:

These should be an integral part of your diet. Having soups and salads before the main course would effectively reduce your main course intake. Do remember to not add extra dressings in the salad. If you are dining out, ask for the dressing by the side which you can then have in moderation. As for soups, try not to have bread with it.

  • Skim milk:

It contains a lot of calcium and helps in burning unwanted calories. It is easily digestible and prevents the building of fat in the body.

Garcinia Cambogia is a fruit native to Indonesia. Used in curries, it works as an appetite suppressant and is in fact used in several weight loss products.

  • Olive oil:

Olive oil is great oil as it is able to control hunger. It is rich in antioxidants and makes for great cooking oil. It has a high proportion of monosaturated fats which are easily digestible and increases metabolism without piling transfats in the body. Another advantage of this oil is that it keeps your cholesterol levels down and stops you craving for more food.

  • Water:

Drinking water throughout the day is a must for anyone aiming to lose weight. Your digestive tract remains clean, your face glows and to top it all you lose weight! So have at least 8 glasses of water every day.

Even as you include all these fat-fighting foods in your diet, exercise as much as you can as nothing works as effectively as an exercise to burn those calories off.
