It’s easy to fall drawn to body wraps based on some of the claims. People report losing 5 inches or more from their waist after just one session. The truth, however, is that body wrap procedures simply pull the moisture out of your body, leaving you dehydrated at the end.
A plastic wrap is placed tightly around your midsection for 30-60 minutes. During this time, you wear a thick robe or gown to encourage sweating. When the wrap comes off, your stomach is smaller because of the amount of water that was sweated out.
If you want to successfully lose weight, you must focus on eating right, exercising, and supplying your body with the energy it needs to sustain physically intense workouts.
