5 Steps To Gaining Control of Your Life
Does your life seem out of control at times? Do things sometimes not work out in your best interest or even against your intentions? If you said yes then you may have let your life get to a point where you have lost some control. Don’t worry you can gain it back and I’m going to outline a simple 5 step process to get you started in the right direction. These steps may seem kind of simple, but they are a simplified version of a very powerful technique that has changed many people’s lives and most successful people do this every day. Start by mastering this technique then move on to some more difficult ones to change your life for the better.
Step 1: Figure Out What You Want
The first thing you need to do is to figure out exactly what it is you want. Sounds easy huh? Well, the truth is most people have no idea exactly what it is they want or they flip-flop back and forth. This causes you to not be able to make the decisions necessary to take control. Figure out exactly what you want, even write it down on paper and stick with it. If you don’t know what it is you want, dig deep into what motivates you. Why do you get out of bed each morning? Everyone has a drive just some people have forgotten what it is. Take as much time as you need on this step, it’s the most important.
Step 2: Focus
Once you know what it is that you want then its time to get serious about making it happen. You need to wake up every morning with what it is you want on your mind and hold it throughout the day. Make decisions based on this and start controlling what’s going on around you. Keep a very clear picture in your mind as much of the time as you can. The more you can feel it is real, the faster it will become part of your life.
Step 3: Take Action
Start taking the necessary actions to get where you want to be. If you want a new T.V. start saving money or if you want better health start eating better. Whatever it is you’re focusing on you need to start taking action in that direction. Once you start it will become easier and easier to do this step. Remember the first step is the hardest.
Step 4: Patience
This step is simple to understand and difficult to master. You need to be patient. Things don’t usually happen overnight, but as long as you are making progress you should start feeling the positive momentum coming your way. Progress is important for this step. If you don’t feel like you are accomplishing anything then you may give up. If your goal is to get 1 million dollars and you start with zero. Then, if you get to 1000 dollars you should give yourself a pat on the back because you are making progress toward your goal.
Step 5: Receive
This is the best part. Once you have completed the other 4 steps then it will be time for you to receive your reward for your dedication and effort. This is the part where you are now a part of whatever it is that you wanted in your life. Your dreams have come true!
