Need More Energy? Move!If you are tired all the time and just feel as if you never have energy, then this article is for you. All you need to do is move. This may sound a little bit crazy, but, if you think about it for a while it will make perfect sense. If you don’t feel like thinking, then just continue reading because this article will explain it to you. Our bodies are very complex but at the same time not the most difficult thing to maintain. There are millions of processes happening at one time inside of your body even as you are reading this article. We will however take a closer look at what you can do to raise your energy levels.

It just makes sense to think that you will lose energy when you exercise and move. This is true because your body uses energy for certain processes. The neat part is that it not only uses energy but it also manufactures energy as you move. The more you move the more energy is required by your body. This causes your body to ask for more oxygen which in turn causes heavy and deep breathing. Oxygen is one of our bodies’ primary sources of energy. Simple, yes it is. That is the long and short of how oxygen provides energy.

Keep walking

It is important to walk when possible. The world is kind of set out to minimize walking. Think of elevators, escalators, cars, busses and the likes. All of these aims at minimizing the amount of walking us people do on a daily basis. This is convenient, but not good for your energy levels. Choose to walk when you can and get the heart rate up.

Try sprinting

It is a proven fact that doing a few sprints once a week can up your hormone levels as well as improving your energy. This does not necessarily mean running, a speedy cycling session or maybe even rowing will have the same effect as running. Sprinting also increases your power, fitness and strength. Avoid overdoing the sprints though as it can cause an unhealthy amount of stress hormone secretion.

Pump some iron

Essentially what is meant by this is doing some heavy lifting regularly. This does not necessarily have to be weights or gym equipment as your body weight will also be sufficient in this case. Think of exercises such as push-ups or pull-ups. What is important to note is that heavy lifting stimulates secretion of the growth hormone which also leads to an increase in energy as well as muscle strength. You could even incorporate the use of supplements such as whey protein into your routine.

What it all comes down to is something as simple as oxygen. So next time you are waiting on the elevator to go down three floors, rather consider taking a brisk paddle down the stairs. It is also so important to always take deep breaths, even when siting at your desk in the office. The deeper your breaths are, the more oxygen you will inhale which means more energy.
