Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey Helps Your Health in Many Ways

Apple cider vinegar and honey concoctions have been touted as ways to detoxify the body and even help with reversing the symptoms of aging. In eating a regular diet today that consists of processed food, starches, meats, alcohol, and coffee, our bloodstream becomes more acidic over time, allowing diseases to grab hold of any weakness in the body’s immune system.

Yet, if we can add in resources that help our bodies become more alkaline, then it is much easier to stay free of germs and illnesses that affect our significant systems such as those which affect our bladders, kidneys, bone conditions such as osteoporosis, aching muscles, chronic fatigue and the inability to digest quickly and efficiently.

Recipe for a Cool Refreshing Honey-Vinegar Drink

Dissolve one tablespoon of honey in about half a cup of warm water first until thoroughly diluted, then add in one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar (not white distilled), then stir together. Add in ice to cool down the concoction, so it makes about 8 ounces of the drink. If you like a touch of lemon or lime, add that in too because, while limes and lemons are acidic by nature, once processed in the body, it becomes alkaline too.

Losing Weight Becomes Easier Too

Apple cider vinegar is also thought to assist in losing weight, and if you can’t stand the taste of vinegar, dilute it in water or purchase it in pill form. Vinegar can help with losing weight because it stimulates the body’s production of serotonin and assists in stabilizing blood sugar levels, which, in turn, helps you feel full sooner after eating. Adding in honey – such as in the recipe given above, will provide digestive enzymes and assist in metabolization that burns excess fat, especially belly fat.

Detoxification

Apple cider vinegar will also help break up mucus through the whole body system, especially when experiencing allergies or a cold. It also cleanses the lymphatic system, which, in turn, helps to remove toxins in the body as well as improving the body’s immune system. Add the honey to help sweeten the taste of the vinegar too.

Apple Cider Vinegar for Cats

While apple cider vinegar is good for humans, it can also assist your cat that develops several different issues like fleas, skin ailments, digestive complaints, kidney stones, and bladder issues. Combine about ¼ teaspoon to 8 ounces of water and then put several drops of the mixture into wet cat food and mix. It is not recommended to ever give straight vinegar as a dosage due to its unpleasant taste.
