A power brush is electric and times which could help your child brush for the proper amount of time.  But do ensure the bristles are soft and rounded when you choose a toothbrush for your child.

Floss Daily

Help your kids care for their teeth by making sure they floss daily. Remember children will need your help flossing their teeth until they are at least 7 or 8 years old. Floss can be designed specifically for children, which can encourage proper flossing. Children’s floss comes in many different bright colors, fun designs, and even tasty flavors to make caring for their teeth even more fun.

Use Fluoride

Make sure you pick a toothpaste that contains fluoride.

After your child turns 2 years old. Fluoride strengthens tooth enamel to protect from cavities. Another option is to use a fluoride rinse designed for children. Use this only when your child is old enough to understand how to rinse and spit.
