How To Whiten Your Teeth Naturally
A lot of people are vain about their face and body for a lot of reasons. One of them is because they want to be confident with their body so that they can take pride in it wherever they go. Dental Hygiene plays an important part in our daily lives. Keeping our teeth clean and healthy doesn’t just make you confident but healthy at the same time. Dental problems are connected to other health risks.
Sure if you got money maybe you can afford to whiten and maintain those teeth. The problem though is that not a lot of people have the money and time to go to the dentist. Although this post will teach you basic at-home care, I still recommend going to the dentist and having it checked up. I provided some easy-to-do tips you can do at home to achieve that perfect white smile.
Eat Crunchy Fruits and Vegetables. Apples, Pears, and Carrots are just some of the crunchy, crispy fruits and vegetables that have an abrasiveness that can help remove stains from your teeth and provide whiter teeth. Munching this crunchy nature’s toothbrush can clean and whiten teeth because of its acidic nature. The crunchier, the better. Make sure that you eat the fruits clean and washed because you’re going to bite into that crunchy layer of fruits. Don’t cut, put into a processor, etc.
Go Dairy and Be Cheesy. There’s a growing number of evidence that indicates cheese, milk, and yogurt (and other dairy products) contain minerals that strengthen our teeth and help re-mineralization and prevent tooth decay. Those minerals are calcium and phosphorus which will help your teeth strengthens their enamel. Besides, we already know that dairy products usually have calcium that is good for our bones and teeth.
Strawberries and Baking Soda. Another whitening method is using strawberries. It is a natural and inexpensive tooth-cleanser. Strawberries have Malic acid that acts as an astringent to remove any surface discoloration. You can also use this with a little help of baking soda but don’t use this method too often as it might damage the enamel of your teeth.
Try To Skip Lemons and Baking Soda. In other online references, they refer to lemons, apple cider, and vinegar for whitening the teeth. Lemons are great teeth whitener because they contain citric acid. Again, you can use the help of baking soda. Apple ciders and vinegar can also make your teeth appear whiter when you use it while brushing. But some dentist thinks that you need to be more careful in using the said ingredients because it can damage your teeth’s enamel.
Eat Chocolate. I don’t know about you guys but I didn’t realize that eating chocolate can be this beneficial to our teeth. I actually thought that it can produce cavities and all but the truth is it acts as an anti-bacterial element in our mouth because of the husk of the cocoa bean. Although many dentists still advise minimizing consumption because it is still sweet. Sugar is still an issue, so keep it to a minimum.
