Men: Look Your Best for Date Night
In order to look your best for a date, you’re going to have to shower, shave, and dress to impress. This doesn’t mean you’re going to have to spend a lot of money doing it, or spend a lot of time getting ready, but the more effort you put into it, the better you’re going to look from her perspective.
In the Shower: This is pretty straightforward, most men are always going to want to shower before going out on a date. Not many women are going to want to get intimate with a guy who smells like he’s been working all day. There are plenty of commercials on TV these days for scented bath washes for men such as Axe or Old Spice. While these can be a good choice since they give off a sweet-smelling aroma, you may be better off going with something else. A regular bar of soap or a non-scented body wash will give off a fresh scent that any woman will love.
Time to Shave: Getting a close shave is essential before a date. Regular razor blades can cause irritation and razor burn giving you the appearance of a rash. This is why it wouldn’t be a bad idea to pick up an electric shaver since they can cut close, but without the irritating side effects. Lots of men use Braun razors because they are fairly low cost, and if you need to replace something on it, there are plenty of Braun shaver parts readily available online and in stores. Electric shavers don’t break often, but when they do, having easy access to Braun shaver parts will get the shaver working again quickly. Using aftershave can help any lingering irritation caused by sensitive skin and it helps gives off a fresh scent.
What to Wear: The date’s setting should determine what would be best to wear on a date. If a movie is on the agenda, it’s safe to go a little more casual, a polo and nice blue jeans might work. Going out to a fancy restaurant is another matter entirely. Everyone will probably be in fairly formal attire in order to keep a certain ambiance in the restaurant. A button-up shirt and suit coat would probably suffice for most high-end restaurants. If the plan is to swing by a nice club, wearing an outfit that looks stylish yet is comfortable would be best, since there is a good chance you may end up having to move around a bit on the dance floor.
