5 Ways to Get Rid of Bromodosis Naturally




Bromodosis, more popularly known as, smelly feet, is a widespread problem. Those who sweat more have smelly feet even in winter. Sweat builds inside their shoe, resulting in the growth of bacteria on the skin. This collection of bacteria causes a terribly unpleasant smell. Sometimes bacteria also lead to fungal infections on your foot, requiring immediate treatment. But don’t think you need a combination of medicines and therapy to treat bromodosis. Here are five natural ways to get rid of stinking feet right from today.

1) Scrub your feet

Never forget to scrub your feet with lukewarm water, mild soap, and a scrub every day. Do it at least twice daily to keep smelly feet away. Ideally, you should do it in the morning before going to work and at night after coming from your office. Make sure you pay attention in between your toes. These regions tend to remain wet with sweat, thus making a breeding ground for fungus and bacteria. Scrubbing your feet regularly with lukewarm water and soap will also keep your skin soft and supple.

2) Take vinegar baths

This is a widely popular technique to counter smelly feet. You need two parts of water and one part of vinegar for this process. Take a bucket and mix vinegar and water. Soak your feet for at least fifteen to thirty minutes every day. Vinegar can reduce the number of bacteria and fungus in your feet. Doing it regularly can keep bad odor away in a few days.

3) Use tea soaks

This is also similar to a vinegar bath. You will require four or five teabags and a quart of warm water. Let the teabags soak in the water for a few minutes. Dip and soak your feet in the water for at least twenty minutes every day. Many people keep used teabags in their shoes to get rid of the pungent smell. Apart from soaking your feet in tea water, you can also use an anti-fungal gel before putting on your shoes. The gel usually contains lemon essence, propolis extract, vitamin complex, and clotrimazole that keep your feet fresh and non-smelly.

4) Remove dead skin

Feet can have lots of dead skin. These particles become soft and soggy due to sweat. They become the perfect breeding ground for bacteria to thrive, thus making your feet smelly. This makes it essential to remove the hard, dead skin immediately. Don’t let them grow. Use a foot file to shred the dead skin to avoid bromodosis and growth of bacteria.

5) Rub alcohol

Rubbing alcohol on your feet can keep them dry for long hours. Take a cotton ball and dip it in rubbing alcohol. Apply this rubbing alcohol on your feet except on any crack. You will notice massive changes in your stinking feet in a few days. Your feet will not become too sweaty like before, thus reducing the pathetic odor.
