  1. Superhero Cookies

For these cookies, you need some simple ingredients that you likely already have around the house.

The ingredient list is as follows:

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups oats
  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp spirulina
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)
  • 2 ripe, mashed bananas

Once you have your ingredients together, preheat the oven to 350. Grease some baking sheets and then mix (in a large bowl) oat flour, spirulina, baking soda, oats, and cinnamon.

In another bowl, mix all of the other ingredients minus raisins and walnuts. Add this to the dry mixture and mix it all up. Add in the raisins and walnuts at this point.

Drop small, rounded spoonfuls of the mixture onto the baking sheets. They don’t spread much, so you can put them close by each other if you want to.

Bake this for ten minutes and then let cool before enjoying.

  1. Super Green Spirulina Smoothie

To make this delicious smoothie, you don’t need that many ingredients. For instance, all that you need to include is:

  • A peeled, frozen ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup of sliced cucumber
  • 1 cup light non-dairy milk
  • 1 cup chopped kale
  • 1 tsp spirulina powder

Add it all into a blender and blend it until it is smooth. Scrape the sides of the blender to get it all combined.

If the smoothie is too thick, you can add water or extra coconut milk to it. If it is thin, you can thicken it with ice.

Serve this smoothie immediately as it is! If you’d like some extra excitement, you can add granola or hemp seeds to the top before sipping.
