Increase Vitamin C Intake

Vitamin C is extremely powerful in fighting against the flu and other colds. You need to up your intake of this potent vitamin during the vulnerable seasons. Whether you take it in through a cough drop, drink mix, or straight from the source, it is essential to proper health.

Rest and Fluids

Every sick person is told to get plenty of rest and drink plenty of fluids. This applies to healthy people as well. If you are well-rested and well-hydrated, your body can devote more of its energy to fighting off whatever works its way into your body.
