Proof that genetically engineered foods in U.S. grocery stores are horrifically dangerous
For many years, independent health reporters have been warning the public about the dangers of genetically modified foods. Meanwhile, consumer awareness groups have consistently campaigned for honest labeling on all G.M.O. (genetically modified / genetically engineered) foods.
However, organizations like the F.D.A., who are friendly with the biotechnology industry, have mocked ethical concerns as being “irrational” fears about bio-engineering. A truly independent study between the universities of Rouen and Caen, in France, demonstrated that the consumption of Monsanto’s genetically engineered foods can cause organ failures.
Genetically engineered foods are now in an estimated 80% of processed foods in the U.S., without any labeling whatsoever. In fact, the United States is one of the few civilized countries in the world that does not require labeling for G.M. foods, and we have routinely warned our readers about the dangers of soy, canola, cottonseed, and corn.
These foods are almost always genetically engineered (unless they are “organic”). Make special note that there is no organic canola, because the canola plant was invented in 1976 through genetic engineering.
Equally there is no truly organic soy for human consumption, because soy in its raw organic form is poisonous. Therefore, we strongly recommend boycotting companies that pretend to sell “organic canola” or “organic soy” in food products.
The Huffington Post reported that the F.D.A. had approved Monsanto’s genetically engineered produce using only Monsanto’s own 90-day study. Monsanto had limited the study to just 90 days, despite the fact that most chronic problems will not be evident in that length of time, which was of course, Monsanto’s intent.
In addition, they flatly dismissed all of their own data which was linked to the sex of the test subjects, because sex traits are usually closely linked to genetic disorders. It was another example of F.D.A. science. Official responses indicate that we are expected to believe that Monsanto’s dismissal of all its unflattering test data was merely coincidental.
Monsanto uses its seed patents to prevent independent research into its genetically engineered seeds: employing the courts and the patent system to suppress meaningful scientific investigations.
We would instead expect for Monsanto to encourage independent research, if it had any confidence whatsoever in the safety of its genetic monstrosities. There have been no independent 3rd-party verification processes, until recently. The researchers involved with the aforementioned French study made this conclusion:
“Effects were mostly concentrated in kidney and liver function, the two major diet detoxification organs, but in detail differed with each GM type. In addition, some effects on heart, adrenal, spleen and blood cells were also frequently noted. As there normally exists sex differences in liver and kidney metabolism, the highly statistically significant disturbances in the function of these organs, seen between male and female rats, cannot be dismissed as biologically insignificant as has been proposed by others. We therefore conclude that our data strongly suggests that these GM maize varieties induce a state of hepatorenal toxicity… These substances have never before been an integral part of the human or animal diet and therefore their health consequences for those who consume them, especially over long time periods are currently unknown.”
While we now know some of the potential dangers of G.M. foods, we still have no idea what results we will see in 20 years from now, or what genetic malformations will be seen in our grandchildren.
When more so-called “genetic disorders” inevitably appear in the population at large, we will have no way of knowing how they manifested, because genetically engineered foods continue to remain completely unlabeled.
This fact removes all tracability and all accountability, which is entirely by design. The American public (and its unborn grandchildren) are the test subjects of Monsanto’s genetic engineering.
The lack of consumer labeling and the deceptions about our new Frankenfoods appears to be intentional. Our food regulators are trusting those who gave us dioxins and Agent Orange, and who presented fraudulent studies to prove the safety of those products.
Monsanto is not the only guilty biotechnology company, but it is the biggest and the worst of the offenders. It has a murderous history that dates back to the days of DDT and Agent Orange.
As its so-called “terminator” pollens continue to infect organic species of crops and wipe out colonies of pollinating bees, Monsanto is poised to cause the greatest famine that the world has ever experienced. For these reasons, it is widely regarded as the most evil corporation in the world.
