ECigs – The Good, The Bad And The Ugly

Vape pen – is it really injurious to health?

Electronic cigarettes are the new way to get a nicotine buzz and they don’t force smokers to deal with lungs full of tar, soot, and acrid smoke. Just like those traditional cigarettes, not all e-Cigs are created equal. There are some good ones, some bad ones, and just plain ugly electronic cigarettes out there. Finding a good one can mean quitting the first time you try.

Going with a bad or ineffective eCig could be the reason you fail to quit when you do try. You owe it to yourself to try with the best available product but how can you tell which one that really is? These are the good, the bad, and the ugly in the world of electronic cigarettes.

Among electronic cigarettes, NJOY really stands out. They recently released the NJOY King which is a disposable electronic cigarette. It looks, feels, and even squishes like a real cigarette, all of which make the facsimile that much more convincing. The stick is light, not heavy like some other products on the market.

All in all, it just feels more like a cigarette than any other e-Cig out there. It’s the tops. Not only do they make some of the most authentic pseudo cigarettes around, but NJOY also offers a trade deal where old, used cartridges may be exchanged for new, working ones. That’s one way to keep butts off city streets. You pay a premium price for this premium e-cig though, so don’t expect to save much money over normal cigarettes with NJOY.

Silver Bullet

It’s hard to find a “bad” electronic cigarette but the Silver Bullet would have to be one of them. The batteries on these things die fast, really fast. They also die for good. Without the possibility to recharge them and with how quickly the batteries burn out, the Silver Bullet proves to be an obscenely expensive alternative to cigarettes.

If your plan was to save money, you can just drop it now. While the Silver Bullet does help curb cravings effectively, it just costs too much to operate and maintain. It is effective, yes; efficient, not so much. This is definitely an electronic cigarette worth avoiding. Go with the above, the below, or really any of about a dozen other e-Cig brands before you go with the Silver Bullet. It really is that dissatisfying.

It seems strange that so many e-Cig companies insist on names in all capital letters. Just because BLU shares this trait with NJOY doesn’t mean the similarities run much deeper. Compared to the NJOY King, BLU’s standard stuff is ridiculously heavy, almost like holding a ballpoint pen between your teeth.

The whole thing is a solid, jet black kind of color except for the tip, which glows with a downright eerie blue light when you pull on the filter end. They are heavy, unwieldy and an eyesore but BLU e-Cigs do the job well enough. Ugly doesn’t mean dysfunctional and BLU’s eCigs sure could look a little more authentic. At least they don’t cost an arm and a leg to keep and use.
