Avoid procrastination

If you procrastinate getting your gifts, then this will add to the stress of your holiday season. We feel stressed out because of lack of time or resources and it builds into more anxiety. Instead, get your shopping done early. The more you do before the late holiday rush the less stressed out you will be.

Communicate with loved ones

This time of year miscommunication is normal, whether it’s not communicating about budgets for gifts, or forgetting items or simply skipping where to meet for the Christmas holiday party. Whatever you are working on make sure you are communicating with those around you. Your communication will be better this time of year.

Avoid sugar

Sugar can wreak havoc on the body and the mind. It creates a false sense of happiness. When you eat it your blood sugar goes up and then you come crashing down. Sugar is also bad for your teeth because it can cause cavities and extensive tooth decay.

Chew sugar-free gum
