Ischemic Heart Disease is More Dangerous Than You Think
Primary prevention for this disease remains healthy lifestyle
Ischemic heart disease is a serious illness. It is the basis of angina, myocardial infarction, and coronary heart disease. The disease begins to develop when the correlation between the need of the heart for blood and blood circulation is broken.
The causes of this disease are several including: high blood pressure, impaired metabolism, smoking and being overweight. If these conditions add up to nervous tension, stress and physical overload, sooner or later, a heart attack could occur. Statistics show that men often suffer from this disease.
Many of them are a subject to enormous physical stress, and they also smoke and drink as well. Recent data from statistics on cardiovascular disease are very worrying. Every year, heart attacks or pre-diabetes receive between 12 and 14,000 people, two-thirds of whom are men.
Important thing is- if a heart attack occurs, do not panic. Remain seated and take a tablet of nitroglycerin under your tongue. If the attack isn’t gone to 3 minutes, take another tablet. During that time an ambulance should be called.
