Additionally, two studies conducted by Dr. David Clemmons at the University of North Carolina found that when HGH was combined with dieting, it expedited weight loss. Participants in both studies were 35 to 60% over their ideal body weight, and in both studies, HGH and dieting improved weight loss by 25%. While the control groups (those who were not given HGH) lost both muscle mass and fat through their diet regimen, the participants who took HGH and observed the diet regimen only depleted their stored-fat and not the muscle mass.
