Experts say 80-90 percent of all women have some form of cellulite.
What is cellulite?
Cellulite looks like lumpy or dimpled skin because of the pattern of underlying fat deposits. It typically has a cottage cheese or orange peel texture. Being overweight by itself won’t give you cellulite, but if you have cellulite, to begin with, gaining weight will only make things worse.
Genetics play a significant role, both in how likely your body is to store fat and if it forms in ways that look like cellulite.
What can you do?
- Brush your skin with a loofah sponge or skin brush when bathing.
- Avoid sugar and alcohol.
- Get a weekly full-body massage (you can have a friend or partner do this).
- Stay fit (exercise daily and eat clean), you’re more likely to have less fat and more muscle.
Apple Cider Vinegar (used in the way described below) is an effective natural remedy that fights cellulite.
Ancient Egyptians, Romans, and Greeks were familiar with the therapeutic effects of apple cider vinegar.
ACV is an incredible source of minerals that promote blood circulation and excess body fluid removal. It’s well known for its ability to prevent water retention in the thighs and abdominal area and diminish the appearance of cellulite. It’s generally good for weight loss as well.
