HOW DOES MERCURY ENTER OUR BODY?
Mercury is not good inside our bodies so we should avoid it in every way possible. The most common ways mercury can enter the body include eating fish contaminated with mercury, through vaccinations and from mercury amalgam fillings in our mouth. Mercury fillings can “off gas” which means releasing a mercury vapour into your mouth. This is not good so I would advise to have mercury fillings removed.
SHOULD I REMOVE MY MERCURY FILLINGS?
When having mercury fillings removed I would recommend you see a dentist who specialises in this area. Specialists make sure they remove all the mercury, where as other dentists may leave some behind. Dental work can be expensive so if money is an issue one option is to travel to Bali where dentistry is cheap. There are really amazing dentists in Ubud who remove mercury fillings and if you have multiple fillings this could really save you thousands of dollars and you get a vacation at the same time.
COLON CLEANSING AND MERCURY FILLINGS
As a preparation before having the mercury fillings taken out I would recommend a period of detox such as my colon cleanse. This is a 4 day programme which uses specific fibers and bentonite clay. Bentonite clay attracts and bonds to mercury, heavy metals, pesticides and toxins and the fibres help to move them out through the digestive system. You can also use liquid bentonite clay like an ayurvedic oil pull, swishing it around in your mouth for 10-15 minutes to pull out heavy metals and toxins. I would continue with these cleansing programmes after the dental work to help mop up any toxins that have leached into the body.

These new findings are coming from leading immunologist system specialists who are showing that mercury toxicity (potentially from getting vaccines or getting mercury toxicity any form) is what is potentially leading to autoimmune diseases like Rheumatoid Arthritis and Alzheimer’s.
Symptoms of mercury in the body to watch out for include depression and anxiety. If you research symptoms of mercury poisoning and your experiencing them, then you might want to consider doing a cleanse regardless if you have mercury amalgam filings. Remember mercury can come from many different sources. Everybody benefits from cleansing, especially regular detoxes. Get the poison out and get the nutrition in!
