Spring 2013 Hair Trends

With Spring on its way, it’s time to look at the Spring hair trends.

The full fringe

First up is the return of the full fringe (or bangs). With Taylor Swift gracing the cover of every magazine, her fringe has become one of the hottest styles for Spring. Ask for a full, blunt fringe just covering the eyebrows which will create a sexy peekaboo fringe.

This style is ideal if you like to just tie your hair back, as the fringe can help make a ponytail look more elegant for a night time occasion. If you like that messy look too, ask for layers in the front of your hair to frame the shape – then when your hair is tied back, your fringe is down plus some layers at the side to give it a little more shape.

It’s always daunting getting a fringe cut in for the first time, so if you’re in two minds about whether or not you would suit it, try a clip-in fringe. I&K does a great clip in fringe which is 100% human hair so you can trim it if you need to so that it blends in with your style. It’s a great way to see if you’re ready to permanently get a fringe cut in!

Long and natural

Next up is a little inspiration from Cara Delevingne – the model of the season is known for her natural dark blonde, long and straight hair. And that’s exactly what Spring is about.

Keep layers long for this style and pair with a deep side parting. If your hair is on the short side, invest in some clip in human hair extensions for the times when you want your hair down. They will add instant volume and length to your hair, and providing you purchase 100% human hair, you will then be able to trim it if you need to as well as styling it with hair straighteners to achieve the Cara look.

Ombre hair

The third style for Spring is ombre hair. This style was most popular last year and it’s set to stay again this Spring and Summer with more shades of brown to blonde, black to auburn, and red to blonde – any color combination is possible!

Ombre hair can be done at home using home dye kits, at the salon, or if you don’t want a permanent change, then clip-in dip dye hair extensions are the best option. You can clip them in whenever you want, plus you get the added bonus of extra length and volume too! Think hair like Lauren Conrad teamed with a pretty Spring dress – perfect!
