3.) Eat Lots of Whitening Foods
You probably know that there are certain foods and drinks which stain your teeth – coffee and red wine being the main culprits, but did you know that there are foods which naturally whiten your teeth? These foods are often crunchy fruits and vegetables, and the abrasive surface lifts away plaque and dirt to actively whiten your teeth. So, eating healthier is good for your body and your teeth!
Try and avoid coffee and wine, and drink as much water was possible. Tap water will have fluoride in which is a whitening agent – it’s also really good for you skin. If you are drinking cold drinks, drink through a straw to protect your teeth from stains and protect your enamel from erosion.
5.) Clean Your Tongue
It may not seem very glamorous, but your tongue can harbour lots of germs. You can buy a tongue scraper which removes dirt and bacteria, leaving your mouth clean and fresh.
