More people catch the flu this time of year, and get rundown with stress and anxiety, than any other time of year. Avoid the dark pits of the holiday season with these healthy tips.

Bundle up

The weather changes and it’s important to take care of your body by keeping it warm. If you live in a cooler climate it is essential to wear warm cloths, like a scarf and hat for when you go outside. This can help you avoid bacterial infections and prevent you from catching a cold. Plus you will be cozy.

Drink more water

During the holiday season we often get dehydrated because we don’t think about drinking water. As the weather turns cooler the last thing we want to do is drink ice cold water. However, it’s important to stay hydrated because this will cleanse your system and help detoxify the internal organs. Drinking a lot of water can even keep your teeth stay clean. When you drink water it acts as a mouthwash to remove food particles that buildup in the mouth.

Brush your teeth daily
